HOW DOES SOFWAVE™ WORK?
In order to effectively treat wrinkles, it’s important for treatment technologies to reach a depth of 1.5 millimeters into the mid-dermis. Sofwave’s SUPERB™ technology delivers its heat to precisely this depth, and the integrated Sofcool™ cooling mechanism protects the upper layer of the skin from burns. Sofwave stimulates the skin’s healing response, known as neo-collagenases, in which the skin produces more collagen and elastin. This visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles in all skin types.

Due to thermal contraction, it’s possible to see a tightening effect immediately after your first Sofwave™ session. The rebuilding of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid is also triggered right away. However, the process of rebuilding these takes around 3 months. That’s why you will see more noticeable firming results after 4-6 weeks, which continue to improve for up to 12 weeks.

Most Sofwave™ patients will only need to book in for one treatment per year to achieve results. However, depending on how your skin responds, an additional session (6 months after your first) can sometimes be beneficial.

Downtime is minimal after a Sofwave™ treatment. Expect skin to appear slightly red for up to 30 minutes. You can leave the clinic and go about your day-to-day routine as normal.
